What’s In Season

There's nothing like fresh, in-season Florida produce. Here are a few more details on the crops we grow year-round.

Healthier Produce for You

At Gamble Creek Farms, we grow organic produce. That means there are no pesticides used, making our produce healthier for your family, and the environment. Our produce is used at three area restaurants, providing a local, sustainable food experience for their customers.

In 2024, our farm became certified by the Real Organic Project. This means that our operation is compliant developed by their standards:

  • Crops are grown in a healthy biologically active soil connected to the subsoil.

  • No products within the same product category are simultaneously produced as certified organic and non-certified organic.

  • The categories of mixed vegetables, annual fruit/herbs are certified.

Crop Calendar

This seasonal crop calendar shows you what Gamble Creek Farms grows year-round. Florida's growing season is most active from December to May. That's where you'll see an array of crops grown on the farm, like lettuce, kale, and squash. Our most common crop in the warmer summer months is green cabbage.
